ABOUT ME

Hello there!

I was born and raised in Alberta. I am a goode ole country boy. The nearsest town to where I grew up was just a small town, so city life can still be at times a strange place for me lol.

I like the outdoors, so I like to spend my time hiking, mountain biking, sight seeing, camping and once and a while a good old paint ball game. Pretty much I can be most tortured by having to stay indoors while its beautiful outside... I get a charge out of playing sports, especially basketball, badminton and floor hockey. I can be quite competitive and loud (in a good way) lol.

Friends describe me as funny, positive person and the butt of every joke (well lately it seems) lol. I think my strongest traits are that I'm confident, full of enthusiasm and have an very Canadian self deprecating humour that prevents me from taking myself too seriously.

I am currently on the verge of finishing my Political Science Degree and may pursue my Masters soon after.

I am very open to new experiences and so i try to incorporate this attitude of 'carpe diem' into my everyday living (ADVENTURE!).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I'm very new to couchsurfing, but I want to change that. I believe it is a great way to meet people from areas that I'm foriegn to. To get the experience of people from certain areas. Also it is a way to throw myself into a mix of people that I would not have had meet if it were not for couchsurfing. I offer a conversation and to test out the comfort of your couch :)

Intereses

My love is that I REALLY enjoy watching movies of any genre (old and new). I'm the type of guy who records his favorite movies on T.M.C :P.

I'm really into music, trying to learn some acoustic guitar. I like all types of genres of music as different genres and sounds have different effects on me.

I also enjoy drawing, especially with charcoal as it allows me to use my hands and I enjoy how the different shades mix and evolve into an desired image.
