ABOUT ME

In summary: curiosity is my specialty. I love asking questions and learning about new things/people/ideas. I am easily amused and tend to believe the simplest things are the most beautiful. I laugh a lot, sometimes talk too much and day dream when I shouldn't be.

Just recently, I moved to Stockholm, Sweden with my oh-so-awesome boyfriend, Jimmy. We were previously living in Bristol, UK where I studied Social Anthropology at the University of Bristol. Though excited for our new adventure, a bit of my heart is still in my hometown of Austin, Texas! Great food, good music, and amazing people y'all!

Some of my favorite things include (in no particular order): elephants, advertising, culture, travelling, dancing (can't stop, won't stop), live music, asking questions, avocados, city lights, open fields, laughing, sunflowers, ginormous trees, people watching (or staring), sweet iced tea, simplicity in the most complex form, and my lovely little family.

I heart music--give me anything with some soul and a good beat. Generes that tend to make me smile are folk, indie and electronica--I also have a soft spot for disco.

When I think of favorite movies, my brain automatically picks Stranger than Fiction and Garden State--but in reality, the list is endless. Rainy day films with kettle corn popcorn, yes please!
