I am a 22 years old and in a desperate need to find myself. I write poetry, do photography, and am a software developer. I grew up quite poor, but now have the funds to seek out and reach for the world in ways that I never thought I would have the opportunity to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be making a 2000+ mile road trip from Arkansas to the Bridges National Park, and then to the Grand Canyon before returning back to see my family. I want to spend a couple of nights under the stars at Bridges. I wish to be engulfed by the universe staring back at me. I want to feel small.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide variety of music. My tastes are very, very broad. My favorite album of the year is possibly Sufjan Stevens' Carrie & Lowell.

My favorite film is Rubber. It is a fantastical commentary on the film industry, life, and the derivation of meaning. Oh, and it is about a telekinetic car tire with a desire for love and a taste for blood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have taken a bad hand of cards and turned it into something more. My life is a story of climbing the ladder from the bottom and consistently reaching for more out of life.
