Hello, my name is Tresca and I'm from the little state of Vermont in the United States of America. I'm currently abroad in Poland and looking to travel to a number of locations. I'm not much of a partier, I'm sociable but more introverted instead of purly outgoing. That being said, when traveling, I'm open to new experiences. Meaning, although I wouldn't normally go to a bar and drink, I may be convinced if it means having a good night with a fun host and hopeful new friend. That's just one example but it applies to multiple situations. In short, I'm open to new experiences and willing to loosen up a bit in order to create lasting memories and bond with newly found friends :)

To talk briefly about my interests when travling or in general, I would say they mostly deal with history and nature. I was born in raised in Vermont, a very rural but beautiful area. As such, I've always been around nature and love exploring new areas of the woods, mountains, and trails. I also love history, a major reason I wanted to come to Europe in the first place! Not only seeing things I've always heard of while learning about history, but also learning new things revolving around history is something I'm readily excited for. At the end of the day, I'm looking to travel and see what it's like to be a local, to meet someone new, to have new experiences, to make memories and hopefully make friends. That's all I can ask for.

My goal is to building lasting memories and friendships with those I meet from many different walks of life and many different cultures. Maybe we meet in your hometown today but I welcome you to mine next time. Ultimately, that sounds like a great exerience to me.

The biggest thing standing in my way from traveling more and frankly, having the travel dream of a lifetime is accommodations. I'm a student and thus don't have a ton of expendable cash. As such, traveling can be difficult. I love looking up flights and travel methods so I can usually find cheap travel fair, however, accommodations are still always too expensive for me to go through with going to all the places I dream of. Couchsurfing may be the answer to that problem and may help me travel like a local, which is what I'm truly after.
