I just have a love of travel. I think this is a cool way to do it instead of hotels. Great to get to meet people and make friends around the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 49 year old mom of three great boys. They are 16, 22, and 29. I love to travel and see new places. Mostly I like to sit and watch people interact. I do stained glass work in my spare time. I've been single for four years now and actually really enjoying who I've become. I'm a total work in progress with no blue prints. I have a wonderful black lab, Molly Moo Cow, whom I love dearly. She' 10. I live a mile from the beach so we walk down every chance we get. My life is good.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life, and teach my children to live thiers in a way that makes a difference to someone every day, no matter how small. We are here to learn from one another, every one has significance, all moms worry for their children, we all laugh and we all cry. There are extreme sides in every group, we need to find a middle sometimes and agree to disagree and leave it at that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My sons. I'm a single mom that raised three boys, and they are such good people. We kid that the oldest is sensitive, the middle is insensitive, and the youngest is senseless. But the three are pretty cool. Adam is artistic and adventurous, Chris is consevative and analytical, and Mike is a total jock with a heart of gold. OK...that's more than one thing, but that's what I've been working on for the last 29 years!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would try to TEACH understanding. I believe we need to seek first to understand. From that we LEARN. If we understand where someones beliefs stem from and why, we can understand, then decide to agree or disagree on our own. Then when someone is sad or angry or depressed or scared, we can SHARE our experiences with them. Often it is easier to see the solution in someone elses happenings. I spend most of my time with people who range in age from 80 to 95. Their years of adventure and wisdom give me strength when I don't know where to head or how to manage a difficult situation. And it gives me such joy to go in to work and see them smile, just because I'm there.
