I live in Tacoma with my wife, Sara. Sara and I are recent graduates from the University of Washington, where we met. Sara is a Speech Language Pathologist who works with children and I am working part time as data scientist and going back to school to study nursing. Sara is also my travel partner--we love to bike around the Puget Sound, especially all the islands, and to hike and camp and otherwise explore all the places that make the Pacific Northwest so awesome. We love traveling locally, inexpensively, and on two wheels and/or two feet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from different places, why else!?! I would like to share why I love the Pacific Northwest (the area around Seattle, Washington) and I want to learn what makes other places interesting places to explore, from the people who know them the best.

We are both intellectually and culturally curious people and love learning about different people and places. We were both born and raised in/near Seattle Washington, so we would love to share anything about biking culture, coffee culture, how every other person works at Amazon, the rain, living on an inland sea, Sleepless in Seattle, and backpacking in the Cascade mountain range.
