Hello!

This is me: I stay moving, studying, listening, and love nothing more than meeting unique, exciting people. The only thing that comes close to that is outdoor adventures. I'm up for most anything at least once, will eat most anything (but really appreciate great food), and am always active. Each day gets as much meaning, fun, and enthusiasm as I can muster.

Important: I work to be as open and non discriminating as possible. That means treating everyone equally. I have no problems with anyone identifying as part of the LGBTQ community (i.e. I don't care what your preferences are or how you identify or what pronouns you use). I don't mind what your political ideology is or what your views are on life. I appreciate diverse views no matter what side of the political spectrum youre on. Disclaimer over.

My work: Bothering sea creatures, mapping, writing, lab stuff, anything else I can convince someone I can competently do.

Interests: climb more mountains, learn more languages, Science! see more of the earth, find strange and wonderful critters, read lots of books, make art, make world slightly better than when I joined it.

I've met awesome people in Vancouver, Cuzco, Lima, Barcelona, Dublin, and Granada. I've stayed with people in Dublin and Barcelona, both of whom made my experience so much better and more memorable than it ever would have been otherwise. I thank the hospitality, honestly, and openness of all the couchsurfers I've interacted with.

Interessi

Science! I love all things science but focus mostly on marine sciences.

Outdoor adventure! Pretty much anything: backpacking, kayaking, sailing, hiking, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, foraging, bike touring. I've done a bit of all.

Art stuff! Painting, great books, writing, poetry, all are fantastic and essential.
