I'm getting ready to sail around the world. I leave October 2018.

My main gig is as an compugeek fighting human trafficking.

When not working at Burningman, I am currently work on several Humanitarian projects in Afghanistan, Haiti, Colombia and Syria. I am helping bring computers and the internet to School and Hospitals and teaching people how to use it. I spend about 1/4 of my time over there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Frankly, I'm planning a trip sailing around the world and looking for awesome people who might want to join me for part of that trip.

I would love to meet up with people coming through The bay area and possibly show them around a little or be there if people have questions or need a little help.

I spent a year couch surfing in 2008-2009 and it was one of the best years of my life. You all are some of the best people out there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a DJ. I play mostly breaks and house but I really love just about anything with a beat you can dance to (except Dubstep - bleh). I do enjoy just about any live music as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three years doing humanitarian engineering en Afghanistan. Basically I was helping hospitals and schools with technology. It was mind blowing.

I am happy to help people practice their English and talk about American culture. I am also a passionate Electronic music lover and if I can swing it I will bring music to share as well. I am also always happy to tell amazing stories about my adventures traveling and sailing.
