About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent the last two years taking care of my family in Reno, NV. First as the primary caretaker for my mom, who died May 31st, 2018. Afterwards, I stayed to take care of all the legal proceedings that follow death.

Last month all those obligations came to an end and I knew that I had done what I came to do and now it was time to move on. The question was and is: to where?

I've lived in Austin, TX before and I may go back there. But I'd like to take maybe the only opportunity I may ever have again to explore this country and see many cities and National Parks I haven't seen. Before I start making a bunch of excuses of why my career or relationships keep me from living an amazing, exploratory, fantastic life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been T-boned (in my car) three times

Teach, Learn, Share

I love chess and used to teach it to kids as a job. I could probably give clinics on cliff diving, communication and writing tinder profiles haha!

I'd love to learn how to juggle, spin fire, or anything circus or acrobat related. Also, a good conversation can always teach me more about myself.

I'd encourage anyone to mention rock climbing, hiking, road tripping, exploring, anything with water and other group activities!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Company or space depending on your needs, solid conversation, an eye for mischief, an ear to listen or a voice to distract, and if all else fails 💵
