Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfers to share experiences. I love meeting people who are passionate. It hardly even matters what they are passionate about. As long as it brings life to them, it brings life to me.

Interests

Hiking, Food. Music. Movies. Art. Literature. Coffee. Beer. Liquor. Pool (I suck). Table Tennis (I can destroy anyone).

I also like scars, knowing that bats are flying overhead, the texture of oranges, puns, bad puns, fish markets even though I do not eat most fish, social ticks, Brine soccer balls, Kendamas, toasts ( "Here's to abstinence! As long as it's used in moderation."), the sound my phone makes when it hits the ground and the battery falls out, and authenticity anywhere I can find it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh man. First movies. Anything by Scorsese, the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen, and Whit Stillman. I have to say, I can get down with a nice Pop movie, as well(HUNGER GAMES). Next; music. Well, I am pretty passionate about Rap. Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper, Lil Durk, Run The Jewels, EARLY Jay-Z, Nas. I love them all. I love Folk and Rock as well. The Black Keys, Father John Misty, Alt-J, Modest Mouse, Postal Service, Sigur Ros, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams. Next Books. I read much less than I watch or listen. John Steinbeck is my favorite author. I also love Kurt Vonnegut, Jeffrey Eugenides, Philip K Dick, and C.S. Lewis. I also love a large array of podcasts but I am not sure how to fit that in here.
