About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mind like water.

ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old web developer/designer living in Montréal. I had been doing freelance web design for two years before, but have recently started a full-time job at a great agency.

I'm quite a relaxed person and have been witnessed to make people laugh through my conversation or through my short storytelling (yes, I like public speaking). Having traveled abroad before and stayed in many hostels, I am open and respectful to other cultures, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and other walks of life.

I have lived in Montréal for the past year and a half and am learning French along the way. I'm still in beginner phase, but getting more comfortable all the time.

To get a real sense of who I am, it might be helpful to check my blog: http://ironjerkrevolt.com. There you can see some of my creative projects, especially my Halloween costume obsession.

PHILOSOPHY

"There's only one return, and it ain't of the King, it's of the Jedi."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created this account years ago, but have yet to host or to surf on a couch. However, I'm very active in my local communities, especially with Reddit meet ups.

I have set up a mini-theatre inside of my house and have hosted many events, including Carl Sagan 'Cosmos' drinking games, Presidential Election Debate drinking games, and some general movie nights (which may or may not include a drinking game).

During the summertime, I host moon rise parties. We hike up to the mountain in Montréal (called 'Mont Royal') and watch the moon come up over the horizon. It's one of the most incredible things to watch, and I've become great friends with some of the strangers who have come along.

I hope to find similar strangers via Couchsurfing.org

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not been hosted or hosted myself, but since moving to Montreal in 2012, I have become quite active in co-op communities and their "culture". Many co-ops host couch surfers, so I'm quite used to being around diverse batches of people.
