About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See everything there is to see!

ABOUT ME

I'm an Oregon transplant that has lived in San Diego, California and Western Maine. Just recently graduated from the University of Maine and am eager to get back to the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy meeting new people, good coffee, reading, writing, listening to music, graphic design, and traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

O-bla-di, O-bla-da, life goes on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sleep on your couch. I respect your things. We cook a communal dinner. See things. Tell stories. Create music. Make memories. Then you can come to my house and do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with some crazy loggers in Tillamook, Oregon last summer when I hiked the Oregon Coast from the Columbia River to the California border. In Montreal, Quebec I stayed with a great group of University students from all over the world, and recently I stayed with a group of students in Chicago when I went there for a writing conference.

Interests

Right now I'm really getting into independent publishing and the whole realm of zines. I enjoy making things, whether it be a piece of art or a loaf of banana bread. I have a degree in Creative Writing, so I guess I like to write, and reading takes up a lot of my time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A year and a half ago I rode Amtrak across the United States from Los Angeles to Portland, Maine. And last summer I hiked the entire length of the Oregon coast from north to south. I have a cross country road trip planned in a couple weeks when I move back to Oregon from Maine.

Teach, Learn, Share

"The more one studies the harmony of music, and then studies human nature, how people agree and how they disagree, how there is attraction and repulsion, the more one will see that it is all music."
- Hazrat Inayat Khan
