About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To eat organic food that is homecooked, to read more, to carve and sell spoons, and find my place in the world.

ABOUT ME

I've been doing things with my hands since a very young age. I like making things, and that is a broad and ever adapting sort of making. My major making passions surround spoon carving, cooking (enthusiastically baking bread, and fermenting), but I have interests in blacksmithing, leatherwork, rope and broom making as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to be friendly to the planet, I think, by nature of the society I was raised in, I would up doing a lot of harmful things to the environment because it was just "normal". I want to find a way to escape that "normal, consumptive rut" that most seem to be caught up in and do something good for this place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think it's a little vain to suppose we each do amazing things, like it's somehow special that we went out of our way or did the right thing. That being said, I am proud of the fact that I give homeless people food when they ask for money.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can bake pretty well, my girlfriend is really good at fermenting and pickling. I know a lot about wood, and I can show you how to carve spoons. I like gardening and can show you my seed collection, or how to make things. We could make some fresh cheese, or sauce or biscuits. OR send you away with some sourdough culture.
