About Me

With a deep love of nature and desire to get back to his roots and break free of the constraints of modern society Trey moved to Costa Rica at the beginning of 2014 to fully pursue his passions of permaculture, sustainable and conscious/holistic living. Desiring to live a life constantly immersed and interactive with nature and growing all the amazing fruits he loves to eat! A building contractor by trade, Trey has shifted his energy and focus into natural building methods in Costa Rica utilizing bamboo, cob, adobe, timber frame, stone, tadelakt and more since attending his permaculture design course, several natural building courses, and being involved with the bamboo building projects at Envision Festival the last 3 years. A dedicated yogi who is passionate about health and wellness, Trey has been studying nutrition, regenerative detoxification and fasting for many years and embraces a fruit-based raw vegan lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am taking a cross country trip from Florida to Oregon soon and decided to sign up to couch surfing for the trip. I have many friends who have used Couchsurfing for years all over the world and everyone has talked very highly of their experiences with it. I think its a cool way to meet interesting people and a fun cultural experiment for me!
