Hey I’m Trish! I am born and raised on the West coast of Canada but was most recently living in Montreal, Quebec (Canada), for the last few years where I worked for a travel company, quit adulting to travel around southeast Asia for six months and am now in Australia for a year of work and travel! Currently just going with the flow... :) I talk way too much and love to have a beer and a good laugh or go out dancing or hiking... totally new to being a couch surfer, a bit nervous but think it could be really cool! Have never been a surfer before... nervous to try it if I’m being honest but I’ve had old roomies and friends who are big advocates of it and I would love to meet new people and make some new friends and try something new! Gotta put yourself out there if you expect to be rewarded by new challenges and experiences. Trying to step out of my comfort zone and meet some people while travelling solo!

Not big on tv shows but loveee movies and will listen to any and all types of music; currently low key obsessed with a lot of reggaeton music and electronic dance music I guess you would call it! Try to read as much and often as I can, but haven’t been doing as much lately with all the bumping around, favourite books would be autobiographical stuff.

I think the adventure I’m on now has to be the biggest one yet... I did 6 months in Southeast Asia before coming to Australia, where I am now living on a one year working holiday visa! Next trip planned is South Korea and Hong Kong, and hopefully India come January!

I don’t know that I would be great at teaching much but I have been lucky to have learned French over he last few years living in Montreal and I love to speak and practice it as often as possible :) very slowly trying to learn Spanish as well! I love to share a couple drinks, always up for a hike or a night out. I’m pretty chill and low maintenance haha, not big into material things or extravagant nights out, more of a steak and dive bar kinda girl ha! I would love to make some new friends and share some laughs.

Hopefully .. I mean ideally I’d like to make some new friends around the world that are open minded and chill, and are maybe as crazy as I am! Not totally sure what to expect but I would love to have some new stories in my back pocket! :)
