I work for the College of Forestry at Stephen F. Austin State University. I fix computers, manage servers, develop web projects, administer GIS and whatever else.In the Fall of 2010, I will begin a masters program in Forest Economic Applications of Spatial Science. Hopefully I will finish!

New to CS. Can't wait to stay on some couches on my trip around the world this summer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hoping to have my first CS in Dublin or Edinburgh. My favorite Irish beer is Killians Irish Red but I can't wait to visit an Irish Pub. In Edinburgh I hope to visit castles and absorb the history.

I like drumming, drinking, cool technology, being outdoors, spending time with friends and meeting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most exciting thing I've done is canoeing at the Northern Tier. The trip was amazing! The boundary waters between Canada and Minnesota are so beautiful. The wildlife were active and we even saw a Bald Eagle catch dinner right in front of us.

The hardest part of the trip was making it over the portage trails while carrying a canoe and pack. Really tough! The second to last night we experienced "The storm of the century" and watched as huge trees snapped like twigs around us.
