About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Shananigans

ABOUT ME

Hmmm...I work best under pressure ;) When I am not super dooper busy I enjoy kickin with friendlies, watching films (I may be slightly obsessed) and chillin to some good tunes. I love psy trance, d&b, a little bit of good old Aussie hip hop, but my all time favorite genre is definitely jazz. My traveling mission is to seek out as many underground, out of the way, local dins as I can (so any advice on secluded joints would be greatly appreciated). Other than that I am an avid fan of old school photography, preferring to work with film if the circumstances permit it, although i have been known to fondle the odd digi as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe you learn from every situation you find yourself in, good or bad, and for that reason every experience is valuable. I also believe in karma and try to be an essentially good person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started but have begun to attend the local meets and am keen to host people and show them there is actually an awesome scene in the Berra, even if it is quite hidden.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a new initiate to the couch-surfing wonder, but am keen to get started! I love the idea of going to a new place and having inside info into the area! The locals are the ones who know where all the great hang outs are, what a great way to experience a new place and met new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the last day of September, 2007 I was riding along on my Vespa when a four wheel drive came straight through a stop sign and t-boned me. I smashed into it, concussing my head on the bonnet then whacking my leg, landing on the other side of the car. Turns out I'd severed my femur and had to have a rod drilled through the centre of the bone all the way from my hip to my knee. Now I have rad scars that give me massif street cred ;)

I have a friend who's a producer of dance music and just recently I sang for him on a track which will be released later this year on his album!!
