ABOUT ME

I hope to weed out the bad people in this world and capitalize on strong, growing and productive relationships. (Cross your fingers for me!) I am a good person with a good heart and I never intentionally hurt anyone. I have a zest for life. I am complicated yet simple, both classy & silly. I have fears like everyone else. Mine consist mostly of worms & papercuts.

I am self sufficient & independent but I love attention. I love dancing & I love the beach. I dislike most sports. Sorry. I do have an obsession with UCF Football though. Haha. I have a condition I call lead singer syndrome. If you are a rocker, then chances are that I am in love with you. (Hopefully you can tell that I am somewhat sarcastic.) I have dumb pet peeves like grammatical errors & people that gossip excessively. Too much gossip will just come back and bite you in the ass.

Big ballers bother me. Too flashy. I am not impressed by money. Take your name dropping somewhere else because I am FAR from impressed by you. I find hard work & honesty attractive. I am a giver in every way. I am easy to please: tell me I am pretty (hee hee), feed me yummy food & you are in. (I'll even pay.)

I will never stop trying to improve myself & I expect the same from the people I surround myself with. I want friends that can be fun, yet relaxed, and go with me while I discover all that this life and world have to offer. Plural is much better than singular. You learn more that way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, it is by far one of the most important things in the universe and almost always the perfect way to communicate. I love Deftones, Korn, Linkin Park, JT, MJ, The Police, Genesis, Godsmack, Britney, Christina, Enya, POD. Basically anything that goes with my inner rhythm. Right now it's anything from the Newsies soundtrack to Ludacris to Damian Marley to Olivia Newton-John to Tears for Fears to Like a G6. You get the point.

I love the Extreme Home-Makeover show. I think it's sweet. Well, okay.... I watch lots of TV right now because I am a scary reality TV show junkie. I LOVE ALL REALITY SHOWS. I love to watch societies finest perform. I also love TRUE BLOOD!!!! My husband would always tell me that there was something wrong with me because of how much I LOVE True Blood. What can I say? It's a fantasy I am GREATLY enjoying being a part of. Can't fault me for that. I'm a fantasizer, an escapist and have a VIVID imagination. It's my favorite! HUGE fan of Weeds.

I am currently reading a book about Da Vinci's genius and a bunch about Anne Boleyn. I am obsessed with her. I also like a science fantasy series by Terry Goodkind. The first book is titled Wizard's First Rule. It was excellent, but with books like that you never know if it will be good or bad until halfway through and then it's too late to put it down regardless. I am a nerd, what can I say???? They made a TV show about those books called "Legend of the Seeker" and I have a poster of the cast in my office. I get into stuff in an extreme way. If you know what a Mord'Sith is and know that I would make a really good one, then you are 10 steps ahead of everyone else. I really love Roger Zelazny and his Amber series. I also love Anne McCaffrey and her Pern books. (Thank you Miss Harrington, my third grade advanced reading teacher). <---- Haha. Look above, MLA period even OUTSIDE of school.

I have volunteered at the Sundance Film Festival for 7 years now so, I love independent films. But, my faves also include Stargate, Labyrinth, Lord of the Rings, Romy & Michelle's, Gladiator, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE..... A really weird mix. And, I don't really like chick movies but 50 first dates is so good. Also Crush, Galaxy Quest, Matrix, 300, Groundhog Day. *NEW* - Have to put in here Step Brothers. HOLY CRAP. That movie is the BEST. "This house is a fucking prison! On the planet bullshit. In the galaxy of THIS SUCKS CAMEL DICKS!" (Gets me every time. THAT'S how mature I can be).

Ahhhhhh. Food. Ummmm, my weakness for sure. I should own stock in Papa John's and in the Walmart sugar cookies. That was my diet last year. Needless to say, it didn't go well and I have had to refrain. Haha. I forced myself to like sushi in 2005 because at the time I thought it was a good thing to do. Now I just love it. I like Mexican, Italian, American, Japanese, Chinese, etc. You get the idea. While I like almost everything, I am particular about my food. I am a carb-oholic and I am working the steps....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met Michael Jackson, spoke to him and hugged him. That trumps everything in my book.
