CURRENT MISSION

I want to try to understand the world but I'm finding the more I read and learn the more complicated things get. So this is going to be a long process.

ABOUT ME

I've just moved to DC to start Grad school at Georgetown which is a bit surreal for me. I'm just so glad to be immersed into the academic world. I'm in a Communication program and am interested in how communicative processes and how they are affected/affect political and technical developments. But that is really broad and essentially saying that I am interested in everything and I'm not sure but I think that that is exactly what I am trying to say. I have been to Europe a few times and have made it a goal to go to a new country every year.

PHILOSOPHY

To be super cool and awesome basically all of the time. oh - and to be around other super cool and awesome people too.

I wanted to meet people very different from myself and learn about ways of life that I may have never imagined.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed last spring with my boyfriend and I don't think that I will ever travel any other way.

兴趣

I am interested in a really wide variety of things. My newest field of fascination is the differences between French and American feminist. This will change in a few weeks. Before last month, my main interest was Dostoevsky novels. My phases change often but while I'm in them I have a hard time thinking about much else. I do love to be outside so I run and ride my bike almost every day. sitting in the sun and letting my skin get all warm and tan is basically the best way to spend my days.... as long as I have a book.

I love jazz and live a few blocks from Duke Ellington's old neighborhood so there are lots of great places to go to catch live music.

I've spent nine months writing a paper on the one beatle's album and still can listen to that album all of the time.
