Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
haven't had much experience with couchsurfing but i'm really just interested in connecting with people, sharing experiences and maybe some giggles. I am about to be traveling for a good while, surfing around, being nomadic.
I have never couch surfed through the website, but I have stayed with friends of friends, people that I've never met before in new places. I have met some really amazing people in that way, established strong connections and good friendships. I think its a wonderful opportunity to make connections like this when traveling, so you always feel like you have a home where ever you go!
yoga, hiking, swimming, climbing, camping, exploring, listening to the birds sing, the wind blow, the trees sway, just being in nature and tuned into my surroundings

Music, Movies, and Books
music is a big part of my life. I would say the bands that had a huge influence on my life/evolution are: The Grateful Dead, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Widespread Panic, Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads, Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, CCR, Bob Marley
my taste varies but here's what I've been listening to lately:
Nakho Bear + Medicine for the People
Iron and Wine
Florence + the Machine
and then all those pandora radio stations that branch out into new musical realms :)

Teach, Learn, Share
I think that anyone willing to share their story has something to offer. Our own experiences are simply reflections to others. We have much to teach, and many lessons to learn from one another.
