I am currently a student in a pretty intense program, so I have no travel plans for the foreseeable future, and will only take guests tentatively depending on what I have going on with school. I work part time as a bartender at the moment while I am in school. I am a single parent, and my daughter lives with me half of the time, and half with her dad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted a couple of couchsurfers, and when I went backpacking in Europe I crashed on a few couches - wish I would have used couch surfing for that trip!

I like to meet new people, so hosting travellers would be fun :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love hard rock and metal but am open to most types of music.

I usually default to comedy with movies, because I don't have to fully pay attention... I don't like to sit and watch movies for long periods of time. But there are some that grab me. Several that come to mind are: Casino, Goodfellas, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Dazed and Confused, The Imitation Game, Remember the Titans, Blindside, Man on Fire...

I primarily stick to non-fiction. My favourite books are Into the Wild, Where Men Win Glory, The Road of Lost Innocence, This is Where I Leave You, Under the Banner of Heaven, and The Lovely Bones.
