ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Tom, you can call me Tommie too. I have lived in New York city for 6 months, and it was just one big couchsurf family there!! I work in Motion Graphics, that are those animations you see on TV before a show starts, or music video's or commercials etc. Fun stuff!

I love travelling around the world, I love meeting people, I'm a little bit of a dreamer but that's just the brilliant ideas I'm thinking of. Yes! brilliant!

I love to party with my friends, but after that I always take some time for myself to relax, design new stuff, watch a film etc. That way I keep my life balanced.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My lifestyle and world vision is my participation. I'm always interested in people and I'm always happy to experience new things!

Also I've hosted alot of people in Breda and New York City. It's great to hang out with someone new for 1 or 2 days. The goodbye's are just so.. cruel..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time I got in touch with couchsurfing was 2.5 years ago during backpacking trough Europe. Indescribable experiences, how open people still can be, and how generous.

Some months after that trip I moved to New York City. I lived there with Nicky Pallas, and we had an actual couchsurf apartment! 4 people living there, and everyone was couchsurfer! What did that mean? Every night about 2-3 new people sleeping over from all around the world! Awesome conversations, the best parties, and always company. That's the way life should be. I want to have people around all the time, I love them!

Then I went back to Holland to my little city in which I studied (Breda). I hosted some people there as well, which was really nice.
