I'm a 27-year-old Yankee enjoying life in San Francisco and still not settled into a 9-5 office routine.

I'm a laid-back, inquisitive, friendly, honest, and optimistic lady. I try to surround myself with people of a similarly even-keel nature.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is continually blind-siding you but rolling with it makes for the best stories as well as the best characters; I try to remember this when things start to go awry...it always helps.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting into this project but think it's a truly wonderful idea. I'd love to open up our flat to couchsurfing but unfortunately my two housemates are not keen on the idea.

Interests

I'm a budding photographer excited about getting more practice in with upcoming travels. I play amateur trumpet and piano. I'll try any sport that feeds my (friendly) competitive side - love playing squash, volleyball, racquetball, cycling and I'm getting back into tennis. In the right mood, I'll dance until 6am and still feel like it's not enough.

I organized the first bone marrow drive in my county back home and registered over 100 potential donors on the national registry. The drive still happens once a year in our local hospital...
