About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make a difference and have fun

ABOUT ME

Tall, love sports and laughing. Spend a lot of my time working with my favourite student's organisation, doing all kinds of health related projects in Denmark and way, way beyond. I'm also a teacher at my university, where I teach younger students biochemistry - and I just love teaching. Occasionally, I'm even a student myself - although sometimes it seems quite a rare sight.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life because I'm lucky enough to have it - and I'm going to do anything I can to exploit this amazing, scary and fun opportunity that some power once gave to me.
I try to use each and every second of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to show my hospitality to the world - in every meeting between two persons, there's always something in it for both, your task is just to figure out what it is.
Furthermore, I don't like stuff that's not being used, and as I spend most of my days on the campus, why shouldn't someone else be using my room?
Anyway, I'd like to see the world too, and I'd be grateful if someone would open their doors to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had the pleasure to surf two most esteemed hosts in Paris - very nice experience, already looking forward to my next experience. Will probably host for the first time some time this spring.(2011)

Interests

I've been a chairman at different kinds of boards and thus came to be interested in group dynamics, project planning, different kinds of communication and related subjects.
I also like computers and anything else that can be powered with electricity - furthermore, I'm thrilled by nature, sports, food, music and beautiful people.
And good plays! I really like the theatre.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of the many books I've been addicted to: Tolkien trilogy, Stephen King's Revolver Man, The Never-Ending Story, Momo, Dan Turell(danish poet), Harry Potter

Music: like it all - Mozart, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, Tori Amos, Kashmir(danish blokes) etc. etc.

Movies: like them very much, but haven't seen too many just yet. My all-time-favorite: The City of Lost Children. Then: David Lynch with Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, the Rambo movies, Pink Floyd with The Wall, The Ring trilogy, White Elephant(about those high school shootings in USA) Indiana Jones, all those James Bond, the Bat Man with Heath Ledger etc. etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been hired as a professional troll on some summer camps for children for the last couple of summers - it's the best week of the year! Never have I gotten so much from giving so little. Just spending time with those kids gives me something I'm getting quite addicted to!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been teaching quite a lot of people in the art of fundraising, biochemistry, and I've been doing a few teachings in leadership as well. I also know how to conduct a choir, know some things about computers and chaos cooking, which I consider quite a nice principle.
