My name is Oksana but i hate this O, so I prefer to be called Ksana. I love exploring the world and I've been doing it through Postcrossing and volunteering workcamps.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have my own place now as I'm always moving somewhere :o) But I'm always ready to help people by showing them Minsk when I'm in Minsk and I go to the regular couchsurfing meetings.

Interests

Postcrossing, photography (it's my main hobby and inspiration), advertising as an art, music, watching movies and TV series and getting into new cultures and languages of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

books: everything by Bukowski, Kerouac, Salinger, Capote, Fitzgerald, García Márquez (but I'm such a bookworm actually)

movies: Some Like It Hot, À bout de souffle, Cinema Paradiso, Crash, Little Miss Sunshine, Lost in Translation, Pulp Fiction, Match Point + tons of others (French new wave and old Hollywood is my #1 love, but I have #2, #3, #100 loves - so better avoid speaking with me about movies or it will take a century)

TV shows: from American side these abbreviations make a lot of sense to me: TBBT, HIMYM and TB. From British side I'm torn apart between Sherlock, Skins and Misfits. And okay, I will miss you, Gregory House.

music: don't ever judge me by music taste because it looks like I'm a bit hipsterish music-junkie. But if I have to name a singer I love - it would be Frank Sinatra.
