CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet people from other countries, especially people who speak any of the languages I want to practice or improve. Swedish is my first language, although technically I learnt Dutch first. My Dutch, English and French is pretty fluent. My Spanish is ok but I've forgotten a lot and often mix it up with French, my Finnish consists of dormant childhood memories that I would be happy to wake someday, and I want to learn Arabic.

ABOUT ME

I was born in the Netherlands, but grew up mostly in Haparanda. I and my kid live in a two room apartment. I just finished studying computer science at the University and am looking for a job. Gender identity: nonbinary.

PHILOSOPHY

Relationship anarchist, vegetarian, and feminist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now my capacity for receiving guests is limited.
I recently moved to a smaller apartment. I might get a kitchen sofa in the future, the old-school wooden type that you can pull out and sleep in. The other option is that I sleep in my kid's bed if she's not at home, and guests sleep in the living room where I usually sleep, in a 140 cm wide bed. But that also requires more planning. There will be a guest apartment available in the future (in a couple of years), that you can book if you plan ahead many weeks.

I also like travelling, and will be doing that a lot more in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always liked getting to know travellers and like to have guests in my house. I have sometimes also used other people's couches when I've been hitch-hiking around europe (a very long time ago).

兴趣

My main interests are languages and playing ice hockey. I sing in a choir where we sing in many languages. I like solving cross word puzzles, repairing stuff at home, reading books, watching films or tv-series, and hanging around with friends. Occasionally I go to a metal concert. One of my favourite bands is At The Gates.

I like to learn a lot of things in general. Especially languages, that's always interesting to me. I also like to learn practical things. For example I would like to build a house someday, hopefully something that is ecologically sustainable both in building materials and in function.
I love ice skating and playing ice hockey.
