ABOUT ME

I`m a man of various interests which continue pulling me in different directions, and my goal is to let them do so:-) A good friend of mine who is studying psychology and human archetypes once defined me as "a nature human" (born some centuries to late..) As I am grown up by the wide ocean, the deep forests and the high mountains of Norway and always have lived this way by hiking, fishing, collecting, hunting and interacting with nature I guess her definition is close to the reed line within my focus. Being out there in the wilderness living of the land for longer periods and just be part of the nature makes me feel vivid. My interests within Biology, ecology and sustainable development is a natural product of my background. Traveling and meeting new people are just as well an important core of my quest.

By the time I´m following another major interest within artwork and are studying at an art academy in Karlsruhe, western Germany. The academy is like a kindergarten for grownups who refuse to grow up and provide unlimited freedom to continue playing. That suits me very well as I like to keep my freedom and live by projects :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...meeting a big male bear while hiking in the wilderness of northern Norway....
...meeting a tremendous huge barracuda while diving on an old shipwreck in Indonesia...
...finally getting fresh capercaillie for dinner after two weeks of one kg oatmeal...
...experience the most powerful northern light I ever seen out in the wild and then to read in the newspaper back in town the next week it was a Russian test-missile out of course...
