that's what i identify myself with . . . an architect and musician by training and a traveller by profession! i have a royal enfield standard 350 (2001), a merida cycle (2008) and a pair of legs (1979 :-) and i love the road. though places where the road hasn't reached are special.

i read quite a bit . . . from fiction to history, earth and life science to architectural and urban theory . . . but travel writing is my all time favourite, and mostly one book wonders like cycling across the globe (adi hakim), herman buhl, darwin's beagle, last chance to see by douglas adams . . .
