Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One, I love traveling. As a kid my mother would save up and take my two sister and I on vacations so we could see the world and learn about other cultures. Sometimes she would even bring us along on her business trips.

Interests

Lots of stuff here. I love traveling (of course). Random adventures, trying new things(naturally). I'm usually up for whatever. And I know that's from a Bud LIght commercial but no. I hate Bud Light. Beer festivals are dope though. I'm really into tech/startups. As for sports, I watch basketball and UFC kinda often. I actually bowled competitively for a little while. It's a family thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

SoundCloud has made picking my favorite music extraordinarily difficult. I'm not even sure what genres are anymore. I'll listen to anything from hip hop to electroswing if I feel it.

My favorite movies are Christopher Nolan films. Perfect combinations of storytelling, intellect, emotion, suspense, and action. Pretty disappointed in Interstellar's ending though. My favorite is The Prestige.

I grew up on fantasy...too many books I love to pick a favorite. There are periods of days where I literally did nothing but read. Starting to get into startup books like Rework and 0 to 1 and autobiographies now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I received my Associate's degree 2 weeks before I received my high school diploma. I was a part of a dual-enrollment program called the Georgia Academy of Aviation, Mathematics, Engineering, and Science (or GAMES)where left high school at 16 and enrolled full time at Middle Georgia College (now Middle Georgia State College). At the GAMES graduation I was voted Mr. GAMES by my peers and I was also Salutatorian of my high school.
