Hi my name is Troy Nahser and I am travelling up the coast from San Diego to Alaska in search of Heroes to promote their excellent causes. I have a truck I sleep in and camera gear that I make videos and podcasts trying to share people's amazing stories. My project is called HeroesOfProjectEarth and it stands for the HOPE we spread with influential stories. I would love a couch to change the scene but more so to meet amazing people. I will cook you and excellent meal and share some stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hmmm now I see this I feel like I answered that in the top section but I am Couchsurfing to meet people. I have hosted couch surfers in the past in Victoria and they have always been a delight. I find there are so many amazing people in this world doing extraordinary things that I am very interested in. I hope we will meet soon, whomever you are.

Music, Movies, and Books

Man I have way too much music I love, but mostly because I am unable to remember words in songs I gravitate to lots of electroswing beats and groovy jazzy beats. Favorite movies, I loved all the classic disney cartoon movies like aladdin, lion king etc. new movies I liked Captain Fantastic, or lots of docuseries.
Books hmm three books everyone should read are Short History of Nearly Everything, Sapiens, and then read them again :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done lots of travelling and volunteering, I planned and built a cob/brick pizza oven for a poor village in Nicaragua. The pizza oven had a 4foot by 5foot interior and could hold 6 pizzas in it no problem. Once it was built we had a pizza party with all the neighbours and it was a blast.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm Im not sure what this section means but I can teach you how to make edit videos and make podcasts and I can share stories and some excellent meals I can make. I am trying to learn the guitar, and when I say try I own a guitar and never touch it and it just takes up room in my truck.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides cooking you an excellent meal I can share with you the secrets of life. If you have one foot in the past and one foot in the future you are pissing on the present. There you have it you dont even need to meet me and already get life secrets!!
