I am a free-spirited, worldy individual with the aspiration to discover the world around me through the lens of historical sites, modern landmarks, and the people - the most important part.

I am from the United States, where I was born to immigrant Vietnamese parents. I am currently on a trip across different parts of Southeast Asia, culminating with a visit to Vietnam (for the first time).

I am interested in discovering more of who people are around the world and in doing so discovering more of who I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The costs of travel can be super high! I want to be able to see the world but on a budget. I'm less than half way through my trip and reevaluating my expenses. I am a people person, so Couchsurfing offers me a way not only to stay on track financially, but it helps me meet some interesting people along the way.

Interests

On my travels, I have definitely redefined what my interests are.
One universal truth is that I LOVE to eat. Eating is one of those things that allows me to discover the culture of the people that I am around. Often times, people put their souls into what they're cooking. They tell a story thru their food.
