About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To show that a citizen of a particular country is not necessarily representative of their elected officials.

ABOUT ME

Nothing's better than travel- though I've been to quite a few places - I'm not nearly as well traveled as I'd like to be at this point in my life. That said, I've been very lucky to have traveled to places I never thought I'd get to via my writing and performing - having taken part in arts festivals here in the US - Australia - Romania and Ireland. Having grown up in a tourist destination (where I was both an official and un-official tour guide) I have a great appreciation for any not only for tourists experiences. I live with my boyfriend (for 15 years now) and one very aged and increasingly needy cat.

PHILOSOPHY

How can you say "I'm a people person" without sounding like an idiot? But, it's true. It's true.

Interests

Reading. Writing. Cooking. Gardening. Film. Art. Lead me to a thrift/junk/second hand store and I'll be in heaven.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving from Chicago to San Francisco with my boyfriend on small state highways just weeks after 9-11 - through the heartland that was all jittery and nervous and worried about anthrax in their mails... It made for VERY interesting travel!

Teach, Learn, Share

If I end up on someone's couch I'll hand off a copy of one of my shows. Right now it's the best I can do.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States
