One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited Bali when I was younger. My parents took my brother and I fishing on a boat. At the beginning, we started fishing with the nylon string around our little toes: it was super fun and the fishes we caught were super colorful !
But... I wanted more: we were offered a session of big-game fishing.
Let's do it ! The engine started and off we went !
As the boat was sailing, I threw this thick nylon string, with a real fish as lure at the end.
Since I was definitely not a pro.. the hook got stuck at the bottom of the see, the string began to slide between my fingers, it burnt my skin and I almost got caught away !
Frighting at the moment, good memories now !
Teach, Learn, Share
An interesting fact that I discovered during my last trip - and would like to share - is that creature sounds are interpreted differently around the world - who knew that in English we said Cock-a-Doodle-Do for the rooster's sounds, and Cocorico in French!
Otherwise, I love to discover and learn more about the daily rituals of my hosts.
