Overview
About Me
This is Sara. I’m an explorer, a storyteller, and a tryna-be plant-based foodie (mainly because my body decided to stage a protest against half the food pyramid). Over the past few years, I’ve worked in hospitality, traveled across continents, walked the Camino, and eaten my weight in tacos and gelatosssss (yes, I risked it for gelato).
I’m all about soaking in the sea, lying on the grass, hugging trees, and finding magic in the little things. I believe happiness is made up of fleeting moments, and every goodbye leads to something new and beautiful. Life’s a big adventure, and I’m here to soak up every bit of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a travel enthusiast and love experiencing the local lifestyle while traveling which I believe is the best way to get to know a city. I also believe that couchsurfing gives me more chances to meet people and experience the locals' most authentic daily life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I’m definitely a foodie, so during my nine days in Rome, I decided to give myself a little challenge: to eat pasta and gelato as much as humanly possible. In the end, I had pasta eight times and gelato seven times. No regrets.
But ok, seriously, what really amazed me was walking the Camino de Santiago. I’d never hiked anything like it before, and the idea of walking 280 kilometers seemed insane. But somehow, step by step, I made it. It felt like my body was defying what I thought were my limits, and by the end, I couldn’t believe I’d actually finished. It was more than just a walk; it was a reminder that, sometimes, the most incredible things are the ones you never thought you could do.
Teach, Learn, Share
So, here’s the deal: I’m allergic to half the food world and eat less meat, but somehow I’m still a pro at cooking meat dishes. Go figure, right? But here’s the kicker—I’m also on a mission to show ppl that plant-based meals can totally be just as tasty. Trust me, plants can bring the flavor game too🤌🏿
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food & my cooking skills - I might be dodging gluten and dairy like a ninja, but I can still whip up a mean meal—whether it’s plant-based or a killer meat dish. Challenge accepted 🥷
Travel stories - from getting lost in Rome to hiking the Camino, I’ve got some wild tales and maybe a few embarrassing ones. Prepare for laughter (or facepalms).
Random trivia - maybe the best way to hug a tree
