About Me

Having just graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison recently, I hope to finally have some free time to explore this world! It has always been one of my intentions to step foot into the unknown and savor all it can offer including friendships. Let's hope that to be you?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a great idea and perfect means to connect with another individual passionate about travel. When I am financially stable, I would like to provide my home as lodging also.

Interests

Learning foreign languages including Japanese, Korean and Chinese Mandarin. Otherwise I enjoy music (KPOP, rock, folk, indie), dance (popping, eisa/okinawan taiko), and spending time with friends. However, my best interest would probably be those philosophical discussions about ideas and the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lord of the Rings, The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and The Lion King!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stay true to my goal. I made the decision to go to Japan when I was a lame 14-year-old. Fast forward into the future six years later and I was studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan for an academic year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you about ethnic minorities, cultural anthropology, Japan, and KPOP. Otherwise I would like to learn about other cultures, social science-related issues/topics, and your best recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The fun times experienced in a rural Thailand village and my ten months spent in Tokyo, Japan. These will include singing geckos, flirty boys, and life-changing lessons.

Of course I hope you can meet me halfway and share your stories too?
