ABOUT ME

My parents moved to Canada a year after I was born. We stayed there until I finished Middle School. Came back to Malaysia to attend high school. Went to uni in the UK and now, based in Malaysia.

My parents spoke English to me while growing up, I can't speak any Chinese or Malay (that's why I refer to myself as, technically, an Asian-American). Since coming back to Malaysia, I've been in the International School community for most of my time, and I have to move pretty far out of my comfort zone to learn Malay (I tried it for a while, but I couldn't keep it up).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Showing my face at CS gatherings and getting a sense of the whole couchsurfing project. It's a worthy one; I've met a lot of cool people in the little exposure I've had so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to a CS gathering in A Coruna. I have surfed in Santiago, Alicante and Stockholm. Since returning to Malaysia, I've gone to a couple CS gatherings.
