HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just finished attending the big medieval conference in Kalamazoo and currently using the fact that I'm down here to travel around the "lower 48" and see some sights I've never seen before.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Relatively new -- to date, only couchsurfed once (three days ago).

Most impressive physical feat: using an outhouse at -60.

Give me any movie, poem, or short story and I can explicate it for you and guarantee an interesting conversation and exchange of ideas. I'm also decent at climbing and a few types of dancing, and can offer tips and advice based on what experience I have.

"Practical knowledge" isn't really my forte, so if you have skills (bike maintenance, food, gardening, knowing which side of a map goes up) I'm happy to listen & learn.
