I like so many different movies, but some ones that come to mind are The Shawshank Redemption, The Dreamers, and Ferris Bueller's Day off.

Music: Dr. Dog, The Avett Brothers, Beirut, George Harrison, Arcade Fire, and the list goes on.

J.D. Salinger is a favorite author of mine. I am currently reading One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
