About Me

I am a Japanese man who will turn 59 in July. In 1999, he stayed in Accra, Ghana for two weeks and in 2000, in Harare, Zimbabwe for a year. I was born in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and moved to central Tokyo in 1988, working while graduating from an acting school. There is a sensitive side, and since the inbound tourist guide driving business evaporated due to the corona wreck, I acquired a senior care worker qualification and worked in airport quarantine. From this trip, if possible, I would like to stay at the host's house and help out and have a fun experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a senior, but I wanted to be a backpacker with the mentality of someone in their 30s. Because I want to meet a lot of people and have a good influence on them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a heavy listener of 81.3Mz FM Japan, commonly known as J-Wave, and listen to a variety of music. I like Shade and Swingout Sisters. I haven't read much lately, but I do read Japanese novels. I watch Hollywood movies on the plane. I watch Marvel movies, Tom Cruise movies, action movies, and comedy movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 1998, on my way back from Accra, Ghana to Tokyo, Japan, I stopped at Lagos Airport in Nigeria to transfer. I had a cheap Aeroflot ticket, but I was not allowed to stay in Lagos airport for a long layover, so I was thrown out of the airport and surrounded by about 500 taxi drivers. I was sent to the Sheraton Hotel in the city, and the driver who charged an exorbitant rate was thrown to the hotel front desk staff, and the hotel staff grabbed the Russian ruble and returned it to the unscrupulous driver. Also, in 2000, during a one-year homestay in Harare, Zimbabwe, the bus that I took was suddenly chased by the police, and the driver chased the car for about 10 minutes, abandoned the bus, and fled. Also, the homestay gardener stole our host's expensive clothes, shoes and jewelry while we were away and was sentenced to 100 beats. I was surprised to see the victim's vehicle covered in blood in a robbery murder to steal $2 at Harare Park on Sunday.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been dealing with inbound tourism for about 5 years, so I can tell you about tourist spots in Japan. I am learning English conversation skills because my English is weak.
