À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Keep getting lost in unknown places
ABOUT ME
I am optimistic and curious and my mind is always flying somewhere away, usually to the next trip I'll make, to the next culture I'll explore :)
I love this feeling of learning and understanding something unfamiliar and strange (anything from customs of a different culture to electrical circuits analysis :p).
I like to believe that if everybody was thinking that nothing is too serious, the world would be a better place.
PHILOSOPHY
Reconsidering, restating and restarting!
Centres d'intérêt
I like photography but I have this problem, when I live an interesting moment, I prefer to be in it than to take a picture of it :)
I also like travelling!
- culture
- photography
- flying
- technology
- traveling
- hiking
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Movies: "Le mepris", "The Royal Tenembaums", "V for Vendetta", "Dr. Strangelove", "Nacho Libre" :D and maaaany other.
Also, I really enjoy The Simpsons!
Music: almost everything? (latest passion: Little Joy - "With Strangers")
Books: "The Moon is Down" and ...the World Atlas!
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I joined BEST (Board of European Students of Technology - a student organization) and I realized that travelling is not so difficult! Thanks to BEST:
I spent amazing moments with people that were total strangers some days before.
I walked in a fountain in Rome.
I've spend 14h in Luton airport with a friend, eating only kinder chocolates that we bought in Istanbul's duty free in order to reach our destination with less than 40euros.
I've been hiking in the snow to see Grenoble from above (hiking in the snow is a huge thing for a greek person!!).
I made a home made solar cell with blueberry juice together with a french and an austrian guy in Italy.
I've let myself be guided in the streets of Valladolid with my eyes tied.
I've had a tour of Barcelona from 6 to 8am from a catalan student that was trying to get used in waking up early.
I booked one way tickets, I was hosted by people I didn't know and at the end I felt that the slogan "Some call it Europe, we call it home" applies to me too :)
So now, I grew up and I'm ready to go beyond the small community of BEST, meet not just students but anyone and explore the whole world, not just "home"!
