ABOUT ME

Hello, friends!

I am 28. I originated from Vietnam, the red hot charming corner of the world ;-)

I have worked and lived in Copenhagen, Denmark where I love the job, the culture and the organized, sustainable society towards equality and humanity.

Professionally I have been working in the A.P. Møller Mærsk Group for 6 years, rotating via many functions and between East & West of the globe.

Personal wise: I still cannot define myself as introvert or extrovert. Basically I enjoy my own time doing self-reflections and being in company with friends for long conversations about life and interesting stories besides some coffee and beers. I appreciate current friendships and love to make new friends, to meet new people around. I like anything simple and smart, love cultures and humanity. I like to make friends with people are passionate about what they do everyday.

... Now that I am on so-called 'garden leave', which on positive side, I have more free time to travel places, see the world and meeting new friends. and it's spring and then summer time. Lovely isn't it?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I get introduced about CouchSurfing via a friend.

At first, I open a Couchsurfing account, and put it there. I had a company-sponsored house at the time thus I just hosted people coming to visit Copenhagen. It's nice experience meeting new people. Afterward when I travel, I reach out to surf the couches, it's not about 'free' accommodation, it's about going places knowing friends! No money can buy it!

I joined a business conference about 'Collaborative Economy'. And this is what about it. People tend to share things in the society: flats, cars, parking places, etc. A good opportunities for human to be closer to each other.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I wish I can bring along my couchsurfing profile/connections after I die... then I can 'couchsurf' in heaven or hell!!

Wonderful. I know many friends via Couchsurfing, and I find it much more interesting to stay at a local's place, make friends with them, listen to local stories & experience.... rather than staying in hotels (damn boring!)

Arrival in Copenhagen did amazed me as first experience in Scandinavia. Peaceful country and many new things to learn.
