Overview
About Me
I have just finished National Service in Singapore and I am currently waiting for my enrolment into University in August. I will be traveling Europe for 39 days which include countries like France, Ireland, U.K. , Netherlands, Brussels, France, Switzerland and Italy. Although you might probably imagine an ex-sergeant may be strict and uncourteous person but I am known to be joyous and friendly. I'm an easy-going person too. I do not mind sleeping on a sofa or sleeping bag as long I have a shelter over my head.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I do not earn much from the military and I am still a student, thus I do not have much funds for my overseas trip. I hope by Couchsurfing I can drastically reduce my expenses. The other reason is I will be able to meet the Couchsurfer host, who is a local that can introduce me to the country and it's culture. I like making new friends. A lot of time an exchange of knowledge and culture can only happen if we share our moments together. Accept my couchsurfing request to let the exchange of culture and knowledge begin. I am excited to explore the wonders and beautity of the world.

Do you know Singapore is actually not part of China? It is in fact located in Southeast Asia and 3800km away from China.
Singapore is also famous for it's high cost of living, largely due to housing and prices of cars.
Singapore has one of the highest GDP per capita in the world, 1 in 5 people are millionaire. However, do you know why Singaporeans do not feel rich?
Singapore celebrated her 50th birthday last year. Despite the lack of natural resources and the limitation in size(she is merely 42km from one end to another, that is the distance of a marathon), do you know how Singapore managed to survive and become so prosperous while her neighbours are still trapped in a poverty cycle?
