ABOUT ME

I guess first and foremost I am a lifelong learner. Liberal in nature, but somewhat hypocritical about it in my political stance. I'm a singer. That's what I'm going to school for. Yes I will sing karaoke, no I will not perform at the drop of a hat. I suppose I could go on forever here, but I am generally a nice guy from what I am told.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy of life is first to reduce suffering in others, then within myself. Only when suffering is gone can we pretend to give joy. What this translates into is that I feel guilty enjoying myself when I know that there are others in the world who suffer. If there were one quote I could leave behind for the world to see, it would be: there is no good or evil, jsut difference.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to be a more active provider and host, but I am unfortunately in an apartment complex right now which prevents me from hosting. I encourage this project as often as I can through word of mouth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been a traveller twice within Canada, both times were well worth it.

Music, music, music. Absolutely life consuming. Also, I like going for jogs, and I have been known to play dungeons and dragons on the odd occasion

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said, any music is good by me. I love lots of different movies, but I don't have a television set where I live, so I am behind on my movie watching. My favourite movie is "I am sam" with sean penn. I have not read for pleasure in a couple years. I suppose that is what happens when you are a college student.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent six life changing weeks in Ottawa in the summer of 2008 learning french in the Explore program. It was so enriching to be put out of my comfort zone.

Anyone can sing. No, you are not an exception. Music can heal the soul. Cooking is something that should be felt out, not done with recipes.
