About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience each day like it is my last, to do my part to help save the environment, and to be a loving, peaceful human being.

ABOUT ME

I try to be a loving and balanced human being. I love to travel (like most people on this site!) and have been traveling throughout the Middle East for over a year now. I'm not more stationary, teaching English in Adana, but still try to travel around as much as I can. More than anything, I'm taking this time to explore and learn things I cannot possibly learn from a university.

PHILOSOPHY

Just be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the concept and hope to host lots of people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few surfers at my flat in Adana but haven't surfed myself yet.

Interests

I love so many things - traveling, cooking, dancing, singing, hiking, doing yoga, swimming, collaging, gardening, reading, making music, permaculture and local foods, sustainable living, traditional crafts, women's rights, relieving world hunger, all religions, animals - especially cats and goats, and many more...

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: Roman Holiday, The Royal Tenenbaums, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Science of Sleep, Splash
Music: Belle & Sebastian, Muse, Cake, Ella Fiztgerald, Ojos de Brujo, Joni Mitchell, global pop-music that I can dance to but can't understand how bad the words are. :P
Books: Paulo Coelho, Albert Camus, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jane Austen, Jack Kerouac, Kurt Vonnegut, Barbara Kingsolver, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am easily amazed so this space could be filled with endless ramblings and recollections. It can be difficult to recognize the tiny miracles that happen all around you but if you do, you won't cease to be amazed.
