About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experience this small thing called life
ABOUT ME
I'm adventurous, open, bit of a geek and interested in different cultures. I'm a curious person, who constantly wants to learn new things. Coming from a small town I lived very close (well, to be exact, surrounded by!) nature, so I enjoy nature. I like a hint of black humour :D.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wish to meet new people and broaden my view about the world and the people on it.
Interests
Many things make me happy. A good cup of tea, dancing, hearing the calming sounds of waves against the boat's side in the evening time...
Activities: dancing!! (I have recently started dancing west coast swing and I just love it), bicycling, sailing, swimming, windsurfing, diving (almost any sport/activity that has got to do with water :). Playing board games with friends
Music: playing piano, learning a new instrument
Crafts & arts: Trying to learn knitting and crocheting as well. Origami. Writing.
Experiencing new things and learning about different cultures: religions, cooking and especially mythologies and languages. I'm all in all interested in speech and language related topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some things that pop into my mind are....
1) the night that I slept under the stars in the desert of Sahara. The stars were so bright and also looked different than back home. One of the most memorable moments in my life :)
2) sitting in a car, which is driving through night-time Tokyo.
3) last summer when we were offshore (in a boat) and a storm caught us by surprise. Being in the middle of a crackling thunderstrom in an almost-horizontally pouring rain made me feel very humble towards the nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some piano playing and Finnish language. If you're coming to Finland in summer time, maybe we could go sailing :).
