I am first of all a poet. I perform regularily with musicians. I get paid for managing a public sauna. It has the the best löyly in Finland. Period.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I don’t usually host guests nowadays (but you can ask, just beware: I got only a room and a kitchen) I have been inviting ppl to go to sauna with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Minister of New New Super Heavy Funk (that is Mr. James Brown, if you did not know) live at Porijazz 2003. Just amazing. He threw me his bow-tie, and winked an eye! I`ve been ready to die eversince.

Teach, Learn, Share

I`d like to learn phrases in Spanish and Arabic. A trick or two with the guitar would also do. I can teach basic Finnish and English, and introduce you to the finnish sauna culture in both.

If you need to know about free food in Finland, please ask. Or if you need a tip on the next GP of F1. I can also teach you to recognize about 15 mushrooms common in nordic forests, if that is more up your alley. Most of the time I can get you to some very good löyly.
