Overview
About Me
Hi I’m Tully. I’m originally from New South Wales, Australia, but currently live in Melbourne. I got on Couchsurfing a couple of years ago to meet new friends as I was travelling in Taiwan. I’ve spent several months in Mainland China and am learning Mandarin. I studied it a bit at uni while doing a degree in International Relations and Archaeology.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Previously I was using it to meet people while travelling and explore new places, but now that I’m back in Australia I’d just like to meet some new people

Music, Movies, and Books
I have pretty eclectic music taste, so my Spotify Wrapped is always a talking point. My favourite TV show is Arrested Development.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed in a kung fu school in China for almost two months
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m interested in languages and have spent a lot of time communicating with digital pen pals, teaching them the nuances of the English language. I can also share lots about my experience in Mainland China for those curious.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of interests, always ready to learn about pretty much anything. I am also a good cook and play the piano (I might be a bit rusty though, it’s been a while since I’ve had one at home).
