Overview
About Me
Avid traveller, amateur dancer, food aficionado. My main goal in travelling in is to learn and experience as much local culture as possible in the time that I have.
Yays: pineapple on pizza, respect for personal space/boundaries, free walking tours, public dance squares
Nays: being without accommodation on NYE (or when travelling in general), jars not screwed properly, not engaging with others when participating in social activities (like couchsurfing!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new LOCAL people (including long-term residents) who can tell me a bit more about the local culture and history of my destination. Extra bonuses for travelling/food tips. Being respectful while sharing someone's home. Learn new ways of doing things. To make the most of my time, and that of the people I'm travelling/couchsurfing with, by sharing my experiences and listening to theirs.
In short, to experience the world beyond my bedroom.
