ABOUT ME

Helpful, humorous, enthusiastic, friendly and open-minded. I'm also a book lover and of course a travel lover yayyyy. I'm passionate about finding ways to improve the education quality in Vietnam, to help more university talents study abroad with scholarships.

I studied and lived in Shanghai for about 5 years, and then moved to Amsterdam to follow a 2-year Master programme. After finishing an internship in Atlanta, Georgia, I went back to Asia and worked for an MNC based in Singapore. After 1 year working there, I decided to move back to my hometown Hanoi (relocated to our company's RPO in Hanoi) to be with my family and friends. So feel free to buzz me when you visit Hanoi then. I will bring you to some places for local food like Pho, Spring Roll, Sticky Rice, Cha Ca, and Cong Cafe. Those are the places I often bring my foreign friends and colleagues to, and they really liked it.

There can be miracles, when you believe.

I always believe in miracles and never give up on my dreams.
Once you work hard and try hard for your dreams, you will finally got it even you may encounter a lot of failures on the go.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS quite a lot and curious what it like then.
I decided to register the portal and quite amazed that you can see and meet in person with a lot of backpackers just like you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I had no offcial CS experience but I had hosted a lot of my friends in my dorm room (15m2 room in Amsterdam with 2 pax on the bed, 2 pax on the floors in sleeping bags and 1 pax on the couch can you imagine that :-P)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

+Hiking Preikestolen in a light rain and having a smoke once you get to the peak is amazing. You feel so small compared to the nature.

+ Scuba diving at Nha Trang with my wife on our honeymoon. A life-time experience (we both don't know how to swim but it's ok:D)

+Trekking in Sapa with my 3 Singaporean colleagues guided by an ethnic local is a unforgettable.

Actually I taught Chinese to my friends when I was in Singapore, you know as a non-native speakers you got a lot of learning tips to share so that other beginners can pick up the language quickly. Nevertheless, practice makes perfect, as always. So throw yourself into Chinese context/movies/QQ/Youku videos to live with the language.

If you don't mind my chief skill, I would be more than happy to cook you some Vietnamese traditional cuisine like Pho (you should eat with some special fresh vegetables to make it local taste) or Spring Roll(we call it Nem in Vietnamese) :-P
