About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is against all odds to graduate and finally get a job I can enjoy.
ABOUT ME
Just a guy who's been around Finland quite a lot, from Tampere to Jyväskylä to Helsinki and here and there. Finally found my home & my friends in Helsinki and moved in with my girlfriend. Although I'm a student, I really haven't got all that much studying done, mostly because of being too active on student organisational activities rather than concentrating on my philology studies.
I listen to jazz/progressive rock kind of music and am a movie enthusiast, but I also like sports, so basically every sports event that's on tv, is shown through mine. I play the guitar myself, I've got few of them lying around here.
What's more? I don't mind a couple of pints with good company, and I do tend to be a bit too social at times, at least for those who like to be alone, but I get the drift quite easily, so no problem there.
PHILOSOPHY
I really don't have one, I'd rather go with the flow, but stray from it if needed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first came here to gain access to some sofas around the world because I was going for an interrail-tour with my girlfriend. But I'm moving to Berlin for a year after summer, and I'll probably be offering mine too once I get settled down there. Later on in Finland too, if anyone's ever really willing to come here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A whole month of interrailing, all the great people in almost every country in Europe... It was amazing!
Interests
As I described myself, I love music, live music and movies too. And I do a lot of roller blading, ice hockey, jogging, you name it. But basically I could sit around, play the guitar for the whole evening, accompanied with a couple of beers

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz/progressive rock, but also good contemporary stuff... Movies of all kinds and yeah, I've studied German literature quite a lot, couldn't really name all the books I've read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many things, or none, can't really say. Let me think about it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been teaching Finnish and German at an upper secondary school and do still teach some guitar to rookies privately.
